Bookings
- Appointments can be booked online or by contacting us directly. Online bookings require at least 30 minutes' notice and can be made up to 42 days ahead.
- A booking is confirmed once you receive a booking reference on screen or from us in writing.
- Please arrive on time. If you are running late, contact us as soon as possible. We may need to reschedule if a delay would affect other customers.
- If you need to cancel or rearrange, please give us as much notice as you can by phone or email. Repeated no-shows may affect future bookings.
- No deposit is required. Payment is due on the day the work is completed.
Pricing and quotes
- Prices shown on the website and booking system apply to standard vehicles and packages listed. A very small number of vehicles may differ in price because of size, window layout or job complexity.
- If your vehicle type is listed as price on arrival, we will agree the final price with you before work begins.
- Additional services such as sunstrips, old tint removal or non-standard jobs are quoted separately where applicable.
- We accept cash, bank transfer, card and Revolut unless we agree otherwise in advance.
- Quoted prices include fitting unless we tell you otherwise.
Your responsibilities
- Please bring your vehicle as clean as reasonably possible, including the outside and interior glass areas we will be working on.
- Tell us in advance about tall vans or campers, old tint removal, damaged glass or any other factors that may affect the job.
- You are responsible for ensuring tinting complies with UK law for how you use the vehicle on public roads. We can advise, but legal use remains your responsibility.
- Follow our aftercare instructions, including curing times before opening windows and avoiding ammonia-based or harsh cleaners on the film.
Shade selection and film
We fit premium Global QDP carbon and ceramic films. Shade is chosen when you arrive using our sample display. We stock common shades including 5%, 20%, 35%, 50% and 70% visible light transmission where appropriate for the job.
Warranty
- We provide a lifetime warranty on the film and installation for standard tinting work, subject to fair use and proper care.
- The warranty covers defects in the film or fitting under normal use. It does not cover damage from scratches, impacts, misuse, poor aftercare, third-party work or modifications after installation.
- To make a warranty claim, contact us by phone or email. We will inspect the work and arrange a remedy where the claim is valid.
- Written warranty paperwork is not routinely issued, but records are kept and the same warranty applies to all customers unless agreed otherwise.
UK tinting law
UK law restricts the level of tint on front side windows used on public roads. Rear windows and rear windscreens have different rules for vehicles first used after 1 April 1985. We can fit darker films where legally permitted or for off-road use where agreed. It is your responsibility to use the vehicle lawfully.
Limitation of liability
We carry out work with reasonable skill and care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of use of your vehicle, or loss of earnings. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the work in question, except where liability cannot be limited by law (including death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud).
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with any part of our service, contact us first at autotintuk@gmail.com or 07540 000000. We will try to resolve the issue promptly and fairly.
Privacy
Our use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time of your booking applies unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to your rights if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland.
